Man who killed nephew and niece arrested

Police here has arrested a man who killed his nephew and niece. He is 21-year-old Kharka Bahadur BK, a resident of Dafla, Triveni rural municipality-2 in Rolpa district. He had hacked his five-year-old nephew Prem BK and three-year-old niece Basanti BK with an axe when they were playing near their house on Monday evening. Kharka Bahadur, who had been absconding after committing the crime, was arrested from Nuwagaon, police said. An investigation has been started in this connection. Meanwhile, a woman was arrested with eight kg hashish at Madi rural municipality. 38-year-old Ram Pyari Jhankri of Thawang -5, Rolpa district was caught by police during police checking carried out on a passenger bus bound to Dang from Thabang.
