Construction of Pokhara Int'l Airport will complete on time: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport would be completed on time. Inspecting the under construction runway of the project today, Prime Minister Oli said that construction is taking place in a satisfactory manner. Talking briefly to media persons, he expressed the commitment that the government would provide all support so the project would see its timely completion. He also expressed concern about the issue of traffic management of Pokhara following the project completion. Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari expressed the belief that construction of the runway and terminal building would be completed within 2019 and the remaining works within the deadline. In response to the PM's concern, the Tourism Minister, representing the House of Representatives from Kaski district, said that the four-lane road would be expanded toward north and south of the runway as well as another bridge over Bijaypur stream constructed.
