Death toll of Nepali migrant workers after consumption of toxic liquor has reached six in Malaysia.
According to the Embassy of Nepal in Malaysia, at least six Nepalis, who were working at various places of Selangor state of Malaysia, died due to consumption of spurious hooch.
Mim Bahadur Ghale of Besari-3 of Dhading, Ram Kumar Yadav of Masina-6 of Rupandehi, Bishal Budhathoki of Amargadhi-5 Dadeldhura, Sanjay Urab of Paschimkusaha-9 of Sunsari, Bal Bahadur Kulung of Siddithumka-9 and Aaita Singh Gole, whose address is yet to be known, have been identified as deceased.
Meanwhile, 16 others have been taken ill due to consumption of toxic liquor. Some of those being treated in the hospital at Klang Valley have been discharged.
