One of the three persons injured in the explosion in front of the Ncell head office at Nakkhu, Lalitpur Friday evening has passed away Saturday morning.
Singha Prasad Gurung, 49, from Lamjung, currently living in Bhainsepati, Kathmandu breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital. He passed away at around 1:30 Saturday morning due to excessive bleeding. Both of his legs were mutilated, vertebral column broken and big arteries and veins lacerated, according to the hospital.
Gurung was first taken to Alka Hospital for treatment and referred to B&B Hospital and then to Mediciti.
Pratikshya Khadka, 26, of Bagdol, Lalitpur and staff nurse at Mediciti Urusha Manandhar, 25, of Banepa, Kavre are currently undergoing treatment.
The explosive was detonated at 7:55 Friday evening.
SSP with the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur Rabindra Dhanuk said the police are looking for those who detonated the explosive.
Nobody has taken responsibility for the explosion.
