The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case against land surveyor at the Land Survey Office in Lagankhel, Upendra Prasad Yadav, and its office assistant Rajan Bista on the charges of asking bribe.
The anti-graft body has stated in its press statement released Sunday that the duo were found to have demanded Rs 30,000 as a kickback from a service seeker during the process of transferring the land.
Furthermore, the CIAA found that land surveyor Yadav used to receive bride through office assistant Bista. CIAA’s Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Koirala said that CIAA has sought fine and imprisonment.
