All the community and institutional schools of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city area will remain closed for five days from Monday due to excessive heat.
The Hetauda sub-metropolitan city took the decision to close all community and institutional schools from June 17-21 at the request of guardians, according to the Education section of the Hetauda sub-metropolitan city.
Some of the students of some schools had fallen unconscious due to the scorching heat in the district.
Now the temperature of Hetauda has reached around 40 degree Celsius in Hetauda.
Meanwhile, steady rise in temperature has led Bharatpur metropolitan city to close community and private schools for three days starting from Monday. The temperature of Chitwan district is above 38 degree Celsius.
