Three eateries in Janakpur burnt to ashes after explosion of gas cylinders


Three eateries in Janakpur have been burnt to ashes following explosion of cooking gas cylinders.
Govinda Sweet House and two other eateries at Kadam Chowk in Janakpur-2 have been destroyed in the fire triggered by explosion of gas cylinders at around 2:45 Thursday morning, according to police.
Locals say the fire was triggered by explosion of gas cylinders kept in the kitchen. Nine gas cylinders were kept together in the kitchen.
Preliminary police investigation has put material damage at over Rs 3 million.
SP with Dhanusha Police Shekhar Khanal said the incident is being investigated.
