Govt to survey happiness of Nepalis

The government will survey happiness of Nepalis. Director at the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Rajan Silwal said the survey, named gross happiness survey, will be based on the slogan of KP Sharma Oli government--Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis. The CBS has allocated budget to complete the survey within the next fiscal year. "Detailed procedure will be prepared about how to do the survey once the new fiscal year starts," Silwal said. "Budget has already been allocated for that. We plan to make the result public in the fiscal year 2077/78." The CBS has made preparations to do the survey on the basis of the latest census, agricultural census and other surveys.
