Over half a dozen helicopters have made emergency landing due to inclement weather.
The majority of the choppers coming to Kathmandu have landed at different places in Kavre and Sindhuli districts.
Two choppers of Simrik Air, and one each of Manang Air and Kailash Air have landed at a paddy field in Panchkhal municipality 2 of Kavre.
Spokesperson at the Tribhuvan International Airport Pratap Tiwari said many choppers have made emergency landing at appropriate places due to bad weather. "We have received information that eight choppers coming to Kathmandu have made emergency landing at different places. There has been no damages and the choppers will come to Kathmandu once the weather improves," he added.
Flights to Lukla have been affected due to weather for the past few days. Choppers are flying there due to high pressure of passengers in lack of flights.
