Dahal and family all test negative

Former prime minister and CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and all of his family members have tested negative for COVID-19.

The whole of Dahal family has tested negative after tests done at a private laboratory.

This comes after six security persons deployed at the Dahal residence in Khumaltar tested positive on Thursday.

"Security persons deployed for security of the residence have tested positive," Dahal's secretariat told Setopati. "The security persons who escort him, however, have tested negative."

The security persons deployed for Dahal's security were tested with the surge of infections in the Kathmandu Valley and escalating cases of security personnel
