Chief Commissioner of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Navin Ghimire has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
A Health Ministry source confided that Ghimire has tested positive on Tuesday. His driver and seven security persons that escorted his vehicle had tested positive a few days back. He had not come to office since then.
A CIAA source said he has been in self-isolation at home.
A total of 41 CIAA staffers including Ghimire have tested positive until now but none of them has been hospitalized. Swabs of other 350 CIAA staffers have been sent for tests. The reports have yet to arrive.
