Three more COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Nepal on Wednesday.
Director of the Patan Hospital Dr Bishnu Prasad Sharma said a 38-year-old woman died while undergoing treatment Tuesday night. The woman was admitted at the hospital on August 2 with meningitis and tested positive while at the hospital.
A 72-year-old man of Rajbiraj municipality 6 in Saptari has died of COVID-19 Wednesday. Acting Medical Superintendent at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital Dr Ranjit Jha said that the man breathed his last while being taken to the hospital on Wednesday after testing positive.
The man, with thyroid and heart conditions, was suffering from fever and flu-like symptoms for the past 10 days.
A 42-year-old man, who died while on ventilator at the Corona Hospital in Butwal Tuesday night, has also tested positive. The man from Kapilvastu municipality 2 was a local trader, according to Covid-19 focal person at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital Dr Sudarshan Thapa.
