The bodies of 22 people, who were buried by landslide at Lidi of Jugal rural municipality-2 in Sindhupalchowk Friday, have been found until now.
Three more bodies were found Morning morning while 17 persons are still missing, according to District Police Office Spokesperson Madhav Prasad Kafle.
The bodies of 22-year-old Chhabilal Dong, Suman Dong, 6, and Suraj Dong, 10, were retrieved from the rubble Monday. The body of 12-year-old Hindus Dong was found on Sunday.
Chief district Officer of Sindhupalchowk district, Umesh Kumar Dhakal, said the bodies of 22 out of the 39 people who went missing in the disaster have been found so far and the Nepal Army, Police and locals are searching for the remaining 17.
Eleven bodies had been retrieved Friday morning while seven were found on Saturday. On Saturday, the bodies of Mekmai Dong, 37, Man Bahadur Dong, 30, Maila Parang Dong, 16, Laxmi Dong, 11, Chyama Dong, 11, Bimala Dong, 11 and seven-months-old Kabir Dong were recovered from the landslide debris.
Altogether, 35 houses were buried in the landslide while 39 persons had gone missing.
The disaster management committee has already decided to provide a relief assistance of Rs 100,000 to each family that lost a member in the disaster, and Rs 25,000 for cremation. Likewise, children orphaned in the incident will receive free education up to Grade 12, along with boarding facilities.
