855 test positive, seven COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday

Kathmandu, Aug 25

A total of 855 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 33,533. Similarly, 313 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 19,119.

The government has conducted 11,327 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 621, 019 across the country until now.

Seven more COVID-19 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll in Nepal to 164.
