COVID-19 death toll in Nepal crosses 200; 848 test positive Saturday

Nepal reported 12 more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours as death toll crossed 200.

A total of 848 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 37,340. Similarly, 313 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 20,555.

The government has conducted 11,516 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 669,626 across the country until now.

Nepal has reported 12 more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 207.
