Three people have been arrested by the police for alleged involvement in the murder of President of Federation of Contractors' Association of Nepal (FCAN) Sharad Kumar Gauchan. The police have not disclosed the identities of arrestees.
The police will organize a press conference later on the day to make the alleged arrestees public.
A special team under DIG Ganesh KC had been formed to launch an investigation into the incident that occurred on October 9.
"We have three people mainly involved in the case. Further details about the case will be circulated organizing a press conference," DIG Ganesh KC said.
Gauchan was shot dead on October 9 in broad daylight by an unidentified group in the capital.
