CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has assured that he will not ditch the left alliance to become prime minister (PM). Speaking with the media at the party headquarters in Parisdada he stated that the people have endorsed unification with CPN-UML through the election.
"I have not thought about becoming PM quitting the left alliance," he stated. "We went to the election forging an alliance with promise of unification. The people's endorsement is for that," he pointed. Dahal himself had revealed a few days back that Nepal Congress (NC) has offered to make him PM.
He opined that there is no obstruction in government formation. "There has been delay in announcement of final results due to some legal provisions. There is no obstruction in government formation. The process has started," he argued.
He also claimed that discussion is being held about unification and it has been delayed for the past few days due to some technical reasons.
