The central working committee meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress party is taking place first time after the federal and provincial parliamentary elections.
In a meeting to convene at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, Thursday morning, matters related to the party's preparation for National Assembly election and candidates selection process would be discussed, shared NC Spokesperson Biswa Prakash Sharma.
The central committee meeting is taking place first time following the parliamentary elections after mounting internal pressure to call for party central committee meeting or Maha Samiti meeting with the unexpected results of NC in the elections.
Though the meeting is said to review the party's defeat in the elections, it would be more focused on the NA election. Another meeting will be called soon to review the election, Sharma informed.
