Visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj paid a courtesy call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Friday morning at the latter's official residence, Shital Niwas.
According to official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India, Raveesh Kumar, Swaraj congratulated President Bhandari on the successful conduction of election in Nepal. They also exchanged views on advancing multi-dimensional relationship between India and Nepal.
The visiting Minister also held a lunch meeting with the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at Baluwatar today itself.
Swaraj congratulated PM Deuba on the successful conduction of the elections. They also focused on the discussion on enhancing the bilateral cooperation between Nepal and India to take the age-old and historical partnership forward, according to official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India, Kumar.
