Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Tham Maya Thapa Wednesday said that the stable government would create a just society while driving the country toward prosperity, economically and socially.
She pointed out the need for full help and cooperation from all in enforcing the new constitution. She was speaking at the tenth anniversary of Astha Women School at Gatthaghar in Bhaktapur. “The government could bring significant economic and social transformations in the country within next five years with the support of all people,” said the minister.
Other speakers under secretary at the Ministry of Education Badri Poudel, former lawmaker Kedar Sanjel, Madyapur Thimi municipality’s mayor Madan Sundar Shrestha, deputy mayor of Surya Binayak Municipality, Juna Basnet, school principal Parbati Gyawali praised the school as an exemplary educational institution established by women.
On the occasion, a souvenir ‘Aastha’ published by the School was launched.
