Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has sought resignation of Minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sher Bahadur Tamang over his comments on Nepali female students going to Bangladesh to study MBBS.
The party issuing a press statement on Sunday has demanded Tamang's resignation stating that he has made vulgar and exceptionable comments on dignity and chastity of Nepali daughters and women going to study medicine in Bangladesh.
The statement issued in the name of deputy spokesperson of RPP Mohan Shrestha has urged Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to dismiss minister Tamang over the comments. The party similarly has also urged the government to bring promoter of B&C Hospital, Jhapa Durga Prasai to the book.
RPP has demanded action against Prasai for claiming that professors at Bangladeshi medical colleges award certificates to Nepali female students only after sexually exploiting them.
Minister Tamang had cited the same claims made by Prasai.
