The Kathmandu District Court has extended judicial custody of former Minister and spokesperson of the Netra Bikram Chand led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma by two more days.
"The court has extended custody by two more days," DSP at the Metropolitan Police Range Mohan Kumar Thapa told Setopati.
Bishwokarma was arrested in Kathmandu Tuesday night on charge of unleashing terror of extortion. The police said documents recovered from Bishwokarma show that he had extorted Rs 70 million.
