The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the major opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed, citing the busy schedule of the party's top leaders.
According to NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the CWC meeting has been postponed until the next notice since the top leaders of the party were out of Kathmandu Valley.
Top leaders including Ram Chandra Poudel, Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi, Secretary-General Dr Sashank Koirala and former Secretary-General Krishna Prasad Situala, among others, are engaged in party's programs in various districts, informed Spokesperson Sharma.
The discussion on the statute of the Nepal Students' Association's that was earlier scheduled for the CWC now will be deliberated in the Directors Committee of the party.
