Most of the parts across the country will receive light rainfall Monday and Tuesday with a change on the weather pattern due to a low pressure system moving in from the west.
"Some parts of hills and plains will receive light rainfall whereas mid and western mountains will receive snowfall," meteorologist Barun Paudel said.
"The weather pattern that started to change from Sunday will remain until tomorrow," Paudel said, "Light rainfall is likely in some parts of the country today evening and tomorrow."
The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has also said that the weather will improve from Tuesday evening. Paudel said this change in weather pattern around Mahashivaratri, that falls on Tuesday, is merely a coincident .
