Power supply to govt offices not paying dues cut off

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Ilam has started cutting off power supply to the government offices which have not cleared their dues since long. The action has been taken against the offices that have not paid their electricity bills for the past three months. Among the government offices facing such action are Land Revenue, Adarsha Secondary School, Small and Cottage Industry Development Committee and Cold Store of Ilam municipality, shared NEA's Electric Supervisor Tara Ekten. The Cold Store of Ilam municipality has the highest due amount of Rs 728,000.
