Teen dies after being hit by jeep

A pedestrian died Wednesday after being hit by a jeep at Bijauri of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-18 along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section. She is Soniya Nepali, 16, of Tulsipur-19, police confirmed. The jeep (Lu 1 Cha 4636) en route to Tulsipur from Ghorahi knocked her down, leaving her severely hurt. She later died while undergoing treatment at the Rapti Zonal Hospital.
