11 injured in separate road accidents in Chitwan

At least 11 people were injured in separate road accidents Tuesday in Chitwan, said the police. Nine passengers were injured when a Narayangadh-bound passenger bus (Ba 3 Kha 7386) bus skidded off the road and overturned at Jhurjhure in Rapti municipality-3, Chitwan. Likewise, two persons were injured when a bus (Lu 1 Kha 8946) collided head on with a motorcycle (Na 53 Pa 7831) at Rapti municipality-3. The injured—the ill-fated motorcycle rider Mangal Singh Tamang, 25, and pillion passenger Sanjog Tamang, 20, both of of Manahari, Makawanpur — are receiving treatment at Medical College, Bharatpur, said the police.
