The fourth ‘Bhojpur Trail Race’ is to kick off here from February 16.
The 36-km-long marathon that will convene from the birthplace of Meera Rai (Sanodungma Secondary School of Pauwadungma Rural Municipality) will conclude at Martyr Park of Bhojpur headquarters, the Rimachung Education and Sports Academy Bhojpur informed.
At a press conference here on Sunday, Kiran Rai, Chairperson of Pauwadungma Rural Municipality, said they would formulate necessary policy for the development and expansion of sports sector.
He further informed that a multipurpose stadium along with community building would be constructed after the name of Meera Rai to recognize her success in establishing Nepal’s glory in the global arena.
Meanwhile, a free Wi-Fi zone set up at Bhojpur Campus was inaugurated. The campus was declared a free Wi-Fi zone by installing internet with support from campus administration and various organizations.
Bhojpur District Coordination Committee Chair Laxman Khadka inaugurated the internet free zone on Sunday on the occasion of Saraswoti Pooja.
